Mushroom Alien Games presents
Settle the land. Unsettle your neighbours.
A card placement settlement game for 2 to 6 players. Reveal your land one card at a time, build outward from what you have, and bury a rival's harvest before they ever see it coming.
Every card starts face down. Try flipping a few.
The Game
Salt & Stone plays like the card placement games you already know. Draw, reveal, extend your settlement, watch it take shape. The twist is that your grid is hidden even from you. You’re building blind, discovering your own land one flip at a time, while your neighbours quietly decide what you’ll find next.
Why It’s Different
Three things Salt & Stone does that most card placement games don’t.
Hidden even from you
Your own grid starts face down. You don't know your settlement's layout any better than your opponents do. You're all discovering it together, one reveal at a time.
Active sabotage
Salting and seeding let you bury a worthless card face down in an opponent's land, no adjacency required. Somewhere in their neat little grid, something is waiting for them.
One deck. Nothing else.
No board, no dice, no tokens to lose down the back of the couch. Everything the game needs fits in a single deck of cards.
Status
Salt & Stone is currently in active playtesting, with manufacturing and pitch materials in development alongside it.
